Interment of Ashes

A short ceremony which takes place after the cremation. Your loved one's ashes will be scattered in their permanent resting place where family and friends may wish to visit in the future and is a beautiful and meaningful way of honouring the life and memory of a loved one.

There is no scheduled time for interment of ashes and can be planned for whenever feels right for you. Some people choose not to scatter ashes at all.

Creating a safe and supportive environment, I will work closely with you to write a ceremony that reflects the unique personality, beliefs and values of your loved one and will carefully consider your wishes and any specific cultural or religious traditions that my be relevant. The ceremony can include prayers, religious or non-religious readings or poems that may hold personal significance for your family, and can also include  moments of quiet reflection.

Contact me via email or phone and together we can honour the life and memory of your loved one in a meaningful and heartfelt way.

During the interment ceremony the ashes are respectfully placed into the final resting place such as a cremation plot, a garden or scattered at a chosen location.

Most crematoriums and churches offer a space where ashes can be scattered but ashes can be scattered in most places in the UK provided the landowner gives permission.

Price  £100 - no charge if within 4 weeks of funeral

Additional fees will be charged to cover travel over a 30-mile radius from New Milton.
